Repairs in progress after workers strike Lumen/Centurylink line in Silverthorne

Repairs are in progress on Friday, May 2, after construction crews struck a line servicing customers of Lumen and Centurylink internet service providers in Silverthorne, according to the town of Silverthorne. The issue was discovered Friday morning, according to the town of Silverthorne.
Customers of those internet service providers in Silverthorne may experience outages as a result of the damaged line. Impacted Silverthorne neighborhoods could include Eagle’s Nest, Hamilton Creek and further north into Summit County, including Spring Creek, Green Mountain, Heeney and beyond. Outages from the incident could extend into Routt and Grand counties. Repairs are ongoing, according to the town, but the outage could last until Monday. Crews will be working throughout the weekend to repair the line, according to a town of Silverthorne spokesperson. Customers should contact Lumen for updates.
