Search underway for missing 23-year-old in Rocky Mountain National Park

Search efforts began on Aug. 12 in Rocky Mountain National Park for Blake Kieckhafer, 23, of Omaha, Nebraska, according to a press release from the park.
Kieckhafer was last seen in the Upper Beaver Meadows on Aug. 7, about a mile west of the Beaver Meadows entrance along U.S. Highway 36 on the east side of the park, at approximately 5:20 p.m. His family reported him missing to park rangers on Monday, Aug. 11.
Kieckhafer is described as 5’11,” 180 pounds, with buzzed blonde hair and mustache and blue/green eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored T-shirt, dark pants and a baseball cap with no logo. He also carried a small maroon daypack, according to the release.
Park officials said in the release that information regarding the ongoing search should be sent via call or text to the National Park Service Investigative Services Bureau Tip Line 888-653-0009, online at Go.NPS.Gov/SubmitATip or via email at nps_isb@nps.gov.
