The Summit County Sheriff’s Office posted on Facebook that deputies found the vehicle belonging to Sean Marquardt, who was reported missing from the Vail area. Deputies are searching the Officers Gulch area, and the post asks the public to avoid the area during the search.

If you have seen Marquardt or have any information about his whereabouts since Friday, March 9, call the Vail dispatch number at 970-479-2201.

A Facebook post from Marquardt’s brother, which the sheriff’s office shared as well, states that nobody has heard from Marquardt since May 7, though his truck was seen on an I-70 traffic camera Friday. This post also shared that his phone and wallet were located in his condo.
