Summit County seeks feedback on transportation safety

In an effort to reduce fatal and severe crashes on roads and bikeways, Summit County and municipal governments are developing a Safe Streets for All Action Plan, according to a county news release.

The group working on the plan is looking for community input on safety concerns and changes the community would like to see in the future. The group has an online survey, open through Aug. 20, to collect feedback, as well as a virtual public meeting July 30 from 5:30-7 p.m.

Action plan recommendations, the release states, will be focused on unincorporated Summit County, Breckenridge, Frisco, Dillon and Blue River.
