Summit School District secures four new electric buses fully funded by grants

Summit School District will be upgrading its student transportation with the introduction of four new electric school buses and four electric charging stations, arriving for the 2025–2026 school year.
This $2.2 million project is fully funded through grants from the United States Environmental Protection Agency, the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment and Xcel Energy. There will be a community celebration Monday, Nov. 3 at 11 a.m. at the Summit School District Transportation Department located at 103 School Road in Frisco.
