The Great Rubber Duck Race comes back for another Labor Day weekend in Summit

The Summit Foundation will host its 37th Great Rubber Duck Race Aug. 31 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Blue River Plaza in downtown Breckenridge. The tradition has raised over $53 million for the nonprofit who uses it to support local nonprofits, scholarships and community initiatives.

The Great Rubber Duck Race is preceded by the Kids Duck Dash where ducks can be purchased from $5 to $50. For the main event, which has a grand prize of $2,000, ducks go from $5 to $100. There is also the Vail Health Business Battle Duck Race, where businesses can purchase a duck for $100. More information can be found at SummitDuckRace.org.
