Letter to the editor: Thankful for the return of a fan-favorite restaurant in Summit

I just wanted to let you know how happy I was to find the Summit Daily notice that Hacienda Real had reopened! Thank you for publishing this.
My husband and I attended the “No Kings” rally, which seemed to have an even greater attendance than the previous rally. When we got home, I noticed in the Summit Daily that Hacienda Real had reopened! We jumped back in the car, and when we arrived at the restaurant it was packed with a line out the door.
I think we were all there for the same reason — to celebrate the resilience of the owners and staff, and that one of our favorite Summit County restaurants was back. By the time we’d finished dinner and were heading home, there was still a line to get a table.
Yesterday made me especially happy to be living here in Summit County.
