Letter to the editor: Tony Jones should be blaming the Biden administration

As usual with the lamestream press, another column on immigration without mention of the word “illegal.” I sympathize with Summit Daily News guest columnist Tony Jones for looking part Hispanic, but he is wrong in blaming Tom Homan and Donald Trump for his troubles.
The “travesty” he discusses is not “this administration’s immigration policy,” it is the past administration’s policy of open borders that has caused such a travesty. Had not the Joe Biden administration allowed millions of illegal aliens into the country, none of Mr. Jones travesty would have arisen.
