Letter to the editor: Walk your bikes on Main Street Frisco sidewalks
Breckenridge
It appears that many visitors to Frisco — and to be fair, some locals — simply can’t read. The sidewalks on Main Street between First Avenue and Seventh Avenue are clearly marked with numerous signs stating: “Pedestrian zone, please walk your wheels”
In other words, get off your bike and walk with it on the sidewalks. If you insist on riding, ride in the street.
Of course, this lack of literacy may be understandable with visitors from Texas. But for those who can read, pay attention to the signs and don’t endanger pedestrians by hurtling down the sidewalks on your rented e-bike. It’s stupid, rude and dangerous — and against the law.
