On Thursday, May 22, Arapahoe Basin Ski Area announced that it has slated its closing day for June 8.
The ski area will offer skiing and riding seven days a week until June 1 before going to a weekend-only schedule from June 6-8.
A-Basin is not ruling out the option of staying open longer. If weather and conditions allow, the ski area will remain open for an additional weekend, closing instead on June 15.
A-Basin will celebrate Memorial Day weekend with its annual Festival of Brewpubs. The event will take place on Sunday, May 25, and will feature some of the best beer in the Summit County area.
Summer operations will quickly follow A-Basin’s eventual closing day. The first day of the summer season at the ski area is scheduled to begin on June 27. Summer activities include North America’s highest Via Ferrata, an aerial adventure park, biking trails, hiking, brunch, live music, events and more.
