Arapahoe Basin Ski Area to host mountain cleanup on Aug. 10

On Sunday, Aug. 10, Arapahoe Basin Ski Area will be hosting its annual mountain cleanup event.
Every year, the ski area picks a new section of the mountain to clean up after the long winter season. This summer, the community is invited to hike down and clean up the Front Side of the mountain.
The cleanup event will kick off with guest check-in from 8 to 9 a.m. Participants will then ride up Black Mountain Express and Lenawee Express before being divided into groups at the summit.
From 10:30 to 1:30 p.m., groups will clean up at the summit as well as the Front Side of the mountain. Participants will then gather on the Black Mountain Lodge deck where lunch will be served at around 1:45 p.m.
