Benefit concert for mountain biker who suffered a spinal injury to take place on Oct. 12

On Saturday, Oct. 12, a concert benefiting Jamison Lee and his recovery will take place at the Silverthorne Pavilion.
At the beginning of June, Lee was injured in a downhill mountain bike race in Angel Fire, New Mexico. The crash resulted in severe injuries including multiple rib fractures, pneumothorax and T5 and T6 spinal fractures.
Over the summer, Lee began his path toward recovery at the Craig Hospital in Englewood. At the world-renowned hospital known for its neurorehabilitation program, Lee made steady progress and eventually returned back to Summit at the end of the summer.
The benefit concert on Saturday will feature live music from Highline Express, a silent auction, a barbecue dinner and a cash bar. Summit County community members are encouraged to come together in order to make a meaningful impact on the Lee family.
The event will take place from 6-10 p.m. The Silverthorne Pavilion is located at 400 Blue River Parkway.
