Building Hope Mayor’s Cup fundraiser returns on Sept. 8
On Sept. 8, the town of Frisco, Copper Mountain and Building Hope Summit County are partnering for the eighth year on a golf tournament at the Copper Creek Golf Course.
What started out as a small golf tournament in 2012, morphed into a fundraiser for Building Hope in 2017. The fundraiser has since raised over $220,000 for the local organization.
Building Hope strives to create a more responsive mental health system that promotes emotional health, reduces stigma and improves access to care and support for everyone in Summit County.
This year’s event will once again pair fun with a meaningful goal, raising resources for mental health services in Summit County. Registration will include 18 holes of golf at Copper Creek Golf Course, a cart, a light breakfast, an on-course bagged lunch, a post-play barbecue and prizes.
The tournament is limited to 36 teams in a four-person scramble format with team and flag prizes. Mulligans will be available for sale on-site for $25 each with a maximum of eight mulligans per team. Check-in will begin on-site at 9 a.m. with play beginning at 10:30 a.m.
Like any event, sponsors are vital to making the Mayor’s Cup for Building Hope a success.
