As the leaves start to turn throughout Summit County, the Frisco Nordic Center is gearing up for the 2025-26 winter season by announcing its anticipated opening day of Thursday, Nov. 27, Thanksgiving Day.

To celebrate the upcoming season, the Nordic Center will host a season kickoff party on Thursday, Nov. 6, from 4-6 p.m. at the Frisco Nordic Center Lodge located at 615 Recreation Way.

During the kickoff party, Frisco Nordic Center staff invites Nordic ski enthusiasts and those interested in the sport to enjoy free appetizers, beverages and mingling with fellow skiers. The event also allows for people to learn about the Nordic Center’s upcoming events, clinics and programs, as well as purchase a pass at early-bird prices.

Passes are currently on sale at FriscoNordic.com. Skiers can also purchase a pass by calling 970-668-2558 or in person at the season kickoff party. Early-bird rates are available through Saturday, Nov. 22 and are $25 cheaper than regular season rates.

For more information about the Frisco Nordic Center, visit FriscoNordic.com or call 970-668-2570 with any questions.
