High Country Conservation Center to host final Water in the West speaking event

On Wednesday, Sept. 17, the High Country Conservation Center will be hosting its last Water in the West speaking event of the summer at Highside Brewing in Frisco.

Throughout the last several months, High Country Conservation Center has been collaborating with local organizations to explore critical water issues impacting the Summit County region. The final Water in the West event will feature Alex Hager, who covers the Colorado River for KUNC.

During the event, Hager plans to share the compelling story of the current state of the Colorado River. The speaking series event will take place from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
