English transcript:

Business incentive program

With about 20 open business spaces, the Dillon Town Council discussed potential incentive programs at a recent meeting. The programs would look to provide financial assistance to businesses in the town core. Proposed programs would offer a maximum of $15,000 per project and include facade or storefront improvement, vacancy activation, tenant improvement and relocation assistance.

Fire enforcement

The fire district that covers southern Summit County, including Breckenridge and Blue River, is implementing a no-tolerance approach to illegal fires this year due to elevated fire danger. As a reminder, slash burning is prohibited from Memorial Day to Labor Day and during periods of elevated fire danger. Some recreational fires are allowed but require permitting.

Watering restrictions

Breckenridge Town Council approved water restrictions that limit outdoor watering to two days per week. The restrictions took effect May 1. The town of Dillon showed support for a similar rule. Frisco has voluntary restrictions that limit watering to three days per week.
