This past weekend, Loveland Ski Area hosted the highest-elevation archery event in the United States with the Easterseals Colorado Archery Challenge.

The two-day event, which took place from Friday, July 25, through Saturday, July 26, brought together close to 200 archers of all ages for a celebration of outdoor adventure, skill and community impact. The event worked to support Easterseals Colorado’s Rocky Mountain Village Camp — a program that empowers children and adults living with disabilities.

Outside of competing across Loveland Ski Area’s mountain landscape, participants were able to enjoy live music, food, raffles, vendor booths, shooting competitions and onsite camping. Throughout the weekend, the Colorado Bowhunters Association’s SPARK program provided free youth archery classes.
