On Thursday, July 24, Loveland Ski Area offered an update on the construction of its new Lift 7 chairlift.
According to an update that was posted to Loveland Ski Area’s social media channels, concrete has been poured for the top terminal and the Lift 7 towers.
The lift will feature extra wide carriers — wider than a standard triple — that are specifically designed to give beginners more space and comfort while loading and riding. The hope is that the extra-wide carriers will help create a more welcoming and enjoyable experience for new skiers and riders at Loveland Ski Area.
More updates on Lift 7 are expected to be released in the coming weeks.
