On Monday, Sept. 15, the National Brotherhood of Snowsports and Keystone Resort announced that the 53rd annual NBS Summit will once again be hosted in Summit County at Keystone Resort.

Taking place from Feb. 28 through March 8, the summit will bring together 60 member clubs and thousands of supporters from around the world. The annual summit is the organization’s premier fundraising event that offers a week of winter sports fun and community, while also raising funds to support its mission of increasing participation in winter sports while developing and supporting athletes of color to compete on the international stage.

This year’s summit will specifically feature skiing and riding across Keystone’s three peaks, concerts, racing, youth programming, cultural celebrations, apres events and the organization’s signature welcome parade. Additional programming for 2026 will be announced in the months ahead.

Following a record-setting event in 2025, this year’s summit is expected to draw more than 1,800 participants. For the first time in the history of the organization, the summit will return to the same resort in consecutive years, displaying the partnership between the National Brotherhood of Snowsports and Vail Resorts.

This partnership will be front and center at the Breckenridge Film Festival from Thursday, Sept. 18, through Sunday, Sept. 21. At the film festival, Vail Resorts will be sponsoring the premiere of “Big Mountain Soul: Ski Africa” which follows National Brotherhood of Snowsports athletes as they ski all seven continents. The premiere will take place on Friday, Sept. 19 at the Riverwalk Center, offering viewers the chance to connect with cast, crew and creators as well as National Brotherhood of Snowsports and Vail Resorts leaders.
