A Republican primary gubernatorial candidate will visit Summit County on Thursday, Aug. 14, for a town hall event.

State Rep. Scott Bottoms will be in the Colorado Mountain College auditorium in Breckenridge from 6-8 p.m. Bottoms, a pastor and U.S. Navy veteran, will discuss his “Reclaim Colorado” agenda at the event.

Bottoms’ website lists policy goals related to government transparency, fiscal responsibility, school choice, support for law enforcement and increased sentencing, reducing regulations on energy industries including oil and gas, support for artificial intelligence and more.
