The parking lot at Sapphire Point overlook and trail off Swan Mountain Road will close for maintenance from 7 a.m. Monday, June 9, to 5 p.m. Thursday, June 12, according to a news release from the National Forest Foundation.
Crews will install signage, stripe and seal the parking lot, add event parking spaces and update the traffic flow entering the lot. The recreation path will remain open, but the news release stated users should use caution.
The foundation, the U.S. Forest Service, Mountain Striping and Jet Black of Colorado will partner to complete the work. For more information, contact the Dillon Ranger District at 970-468-5400.
