Snake River Music Festival kicks off on Monday
The Snake River Music Festival invites the community to its 2025 concert series from Aug. 11 through Aug. 24.
Featuring its resident Carpe Diem String Quartet, as well as other professional musicians from stages around the world, the festival will open with the “Winds of Change” concert on Monday, Aug. 11.
All of the concerts begin at 6 p.m. and will be hosted by Dillon Community Church at 371 La Bonte Street in Dillon. The concerts are free to the public, but donations are always encouraged.
A social half hour with shared appetizers will begin at 5:30 p.m. Additionally, there will be a free family concert of musical stylings from the Carpe Diem String Quartet on the outdoor stage at the Silverthorne Performing Arts Center at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 23.
