Summit girls volleyball team hosting 4th annual 4v4 grass volleyball tournament

On Saturday, Aug. 16, the Summit High School girls volleyball team will be hosting its fourth-annual, co-ed grass volleyball tournament.
Taking place on the athletic field located outside of Summit High School, check-in will start at 8 a.m., with the first game beginning at 9 a.m. This year, a new rule will be enforced where adult teams can only have two male athletes on the court at one time.
Pool play will take place in the morning to determine seeding with a single-elimination tournament to follow. Concessions, a sandwich lunch deal and spirit gear will be available for purchase throughout the day.
There will three divisions in the tournament with prizes being awarded to each division winner. Teams can register for $120 a team before Saturday, Aug. 9, and $140 thereafter. The tournament is open to athletes ages 11 and under.
