Later this month, three Summit High School students will be performing at the International Thespian Festival in Bloomington, Indiana.
The three students — recent graduate Satori Adnan, rising sophomore Sophie Sullivan and rising senior Sonnett Renoux — qualified for the festival’s selective performance slots after attending the Colorado State Thespian Conference earlier this year and achieving high scores on their performances there.
Adnan and Sullivan each qualified based on both a solo musical theatre performance, along with a duet that they performed together. Renoux qualified based on a solo performance. From June 21-26, they’ll bring these performances to Indiana University, where qualifying high school theatre students from around the world participate in performances, competitions, workshops and college auditions.
Following the festival, Adnan will continue pursuing musical theatre, starting classes at the University of Hartford this fall in pursuit of a musical theatre degree.
