Summit Rugby hosting 5th annual golf tournament on Sept. 18
On Thursday, Sept. 18, the Summit girl rugby program will be hosting the fifth-annual Peter Clarke Memorial Summit Rugby Golf Tournament at the Breckenridge Golf Club.
For $700, each four-person team will get access to two carts, hole sponsorship, swag, breakfast treats, a post-tournament meal and entry into a raffle. Community members and businesses wanting to just sponsor a hole can contribute $150. Each hole sponsorship will include a custom pinhole sign showing the support of Summit Rugby.
The tournament will also include a best costume contest and a $25,000 hole-in-one competition.
All of the proceeds of the event will benefit the Summit girls youth rugby teams. Registration is expected to take place at 9 a.m. the day of the event with the tournament starting at 10 a.m.
