Beginning on June 16, the town of Frisco will be hosting its 11th annual Mountain Goat Kids’ Trail Running Series at the Frisco Nordic Center. The series takes place over four days — June 16, June 30, July 14 and July 28.

Course options range from 0.5 miles to just over 3 miles. The 0.5 mile course is recommended for “mini goats,” or participants aged 4 and under. The intermediate course for “junior goats” is best for ages 5-8 and the longest course is designed for “senior goats” aged 9-13. The age guidelines are not mandatory, and participants may sign up for any length of course that they see fit.

Single-run registration costs $15 and registration for all four dates costs $45. Parents may accompany their children on a run free of charge.

All children who complete a course will receive a finisher medal and a gift, and children who complete courses on all four dates will receive an additional series gift.

More information on courses and registration is available on the town of Frisco’s website.
