Free shuttle will offer service connecting Leadville to nearby Ski Cooper

The shuttle will operate Saturdays and Sundays throughout the season, according to the Leadville and Twin Lakes tourism office

Starting Jan. 4, there will be a free shuttle service connecting Leadville to Ski Cooper, according to a news release from the Leadville and Twin Lakes tourism office.

The shuttle will operate Saturdays and Sundays through April 6, the release states. The shuttle services, run by Downtowner, will run from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. with a break from noon to 1 p.m.

It will make round trips every 30 minutes, with the frequency being subject to weather conditions and traffic, the release states. It will pick up at the intersection of 3rd Street and Harrison Avenue and will drop passengers at the unloading zone in front of the ticket window at Ski Cooper.
