Silverthorne is now accepting applications for its business grant program
Silverthorne has allocated $40,000, with awards up to $10,000 per business, for its 2026 business grants cycle.
Introduced in 2012, the Business Improvement Grant Program provides grants to businesses through a competitive application review process. The town has awarded grants to more than 80 Silverthorne businesses.
Applications can be for site enhancement projects or capital projects that create new jobs or other economic development benefits for the community. Grant requests that include matching funds from a business will generally be given preference.
Applications for Silverthorne business grants close at 4 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 27, 2026, and are awarded under the direction of the Silverthorne Town Council.
More information and the application can be found at Silverthorne.org/businessgrant.

As a Summit Daily News reader, you make our work possible.
Summit Daily is embarking on a multiyear project to digitize its archives going back to 1989 and make them available to the public in partnership with the Colorado Historic Newspapers Collection. The full project is expected to cost about $165,000. All donations made in 2023 will go directly toward this project.
Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference.
