The real estate group Slifer Smith & Frampton, through its charity arm, launched a fundraising campaign to help support the creation of the SolCenter, a joint project between two Summit County nonprofits

The center, set to be built on a parcel of land in Breckenridge along Colorado Highway 9 and Coyne Valley Road, will be the new hub for the Family & Intercultural Resource Center, which operates a food bank and a number of social service programs, and Building Hope, a mental health nonprofit.

Slifer Smith & Frampton has a $50,000 fundraising goal and is pledging up to $25,000 in matching donations to make it happen.

Donations can be made at SummitFIRC.org/en/ssf-Sol-Center-Donations/

Additionally, the charity group has opened applications for nonprofits to apply for funds through its 2024 grant cycle, which will award $30,000 in total to local organizations. Applications can be made at SummitCountyRealEstate.com/Resources/Grant-and-Sponsorship-Requests.

The deadline to apply is Dec. 31, and each organization will be notified about funding decisions by Jan. 31.
