Breckenridge wraps up summer-long skatepark transformation

On Tuesday, Sept. 23, the the town of Breckenridge hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for a brand-new section of the Kingdom Park skatepark in Breckenridge.
Breckenridge Town Council, the Breckenridge Recreation team and members of the public were in attendance for the event.
The skatepark had been under construction for the majority of the summer while an expansion project was completed. The project added an additional 12,500 square feet of area to the skatepark that will mainly include beginner features.
The park is now fully open to the community until the start of the winter season.
