The Frisco Historic Park and Museum announced that it will be adding an extra pop-up in the park to its summer events schedule.

Taking place throughout the summer season, pop-ups are an opportunity for community members of all ages to enjoy experiences that combine education and entertainment. On Sunday, July 20, Frisco’s newly added Picnic with a Burro Pop-Up event will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet Ellroy, an award-winning burro, and learn about the work pack burros performed back in the mining days. No lunches will be provided. Akoostik Moose will also be performing live music from noon to 3 p.m. The event is free.

Frisco’s slate of pop-up events will then conclude with Poetry in the Park on Sept. 7.
